Our Laurel Ridge campers love to get mail! Please consider sending a note of encouragement and love to those attending. We are requesting only letters in sealed envelopes, no postcards. Write your message with the following address on the envelope and return them to the West Lobby in the box under the bulletin board. Calvary Moravian Women’s Day
Sisters, please mark Saturday, September 19th in your calendar. You are invited to attend a special day just for-you! We will discuss ways to anchor to community, church and even ourselves. Enjoy a fantastic lunch (vegetarian, and gluten-free options will be provided), engage in a speaker lead discussion with small group conversation, and participate in a service project benefiting those most vulnerable in our community. Last year’s event proved to be so beneficial for all involved. Please join us and not only may you leave more anchored to God, you will feel more anchored to your sisters in Christ. Calvary will celebrate Holy Communion every week through Jan Hus Sunday, July 5th. Jan Hus Sunday will follow our traditional Moravian form. The four Sundays in between will introduce something new for our congregation: communion by intinction, received by coming forward. When it’s time, ushers or sacristans will guide rows forward. You’ll receive bread and dip it into the cup, then return to your seat. If mobility is a concern, a Pastor or acolyte will come to you. Receiving communion weekly through this season is a way of saying: we belong to Christ and to each other.Churchwide Retreat

Virtual prayer meetings will be offered on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, at 9:00 AM via Zoom. The next meeting will be Tuesday, June 23rd. This Zoom prayer time will last about 15 minutes, and gives us an additional opportunity to check in and share the people and things that we hold in our hearts.
