Sounds of the Summer Concert
On Monday, June 16th, in Davis Chapel at Baptist Hospital, Sounds of the Summer will kick off their annual organ series. Our very own Mary Lou will be playing at 6 PM. We hope you'll attend and hear some lovely organ music at various locations all summer long!
Laurel Ridge Participant Mail
On the West Lobby Bulletin board & in the email sent out to the congregation, you will find a list of all those from our Calvary family attending Laurel Ridge Camps this season. And they love to get mail! Please consider sending a note of encouragement and love to those attending. We are requesting only letters in sealed envelopes, no postcards. Write your message with the following address on the envelope and return them to the West Lobby in the box under the bulletin board. We will stamp them and mail them off to our Laurel Ridge Attendee! Calvary Moravian Acolytes
We would love to have your youngest Moravian join our workship team as an acolyte this summer. Please review the available slots at the link below and sign up there. Opportunity for Community & Prayer
Virtual prayer meetings will be offered on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, at 9:00 AM via Zoom. The next meeting will be Tuesday, June 24th. We will pray for ourselves, for those on our prayer list, and for our church and world. This Zoom prayer time will last about 15 minutes, and gives us an additional opportunity to check in and share the people and things that we hold in our hearts. Confidentiality will be an essential part of these times together; when talking with someone else about the prayer time, it’s OK to say what you yourself shared, but not OK to say what anyone else shared. We have our Church-wide retreat scheduled for August 29th-31st with an option to stay until September 1st at Laurel Ridge. This is Labor Day Weekend. Make sure you mark this on your calendars!
