Livestream Worship on Facebook
Due to technical limitations at home, Bishop Lane will be preaching using Facebook Live this week. Click the link above or HERE to watch the service Sunday at 11 AM. Please note that you do not need a Facebook account to watch the livestream, but you will not be able to comment or interact with the video beyond watching it if you do not have an account. We look forward to bringing you worship on Sunday morning!
A Calvary Collaborative Cookbook!
We had such a great time making our Calvary Family Quilt that we’ve decided to also make a new Calvary Family Cookbook! We want EVERYONE to be involved. Please submit 3–6 of your favorite recipes so you can be represented in our cookbook. We’re using a specialty website to collect recipes online (this will save our data entry team a lot of time; directions and further details are in Sunday’s bulletin and the monthly newsletter). If you cannot submit recipes at the website, a volunteer can enter them for you. Reach out to Lydia Ingram with any questions: Lydia.K.Ingram@gmail.com, or (210) 882-0241.
Kindly submit all recipes no later than April 18.
Friends and Family Prayer List
In order to make our friends and family prayer list current, the Board of Elders approved a new procedure that will help us keep the list up-to-date. Beginning Monday, March 15, names currently listed on the friends and family prayer list will be removed. If you would like a family member or friend to be placed on this list, please email Jacob Patrick our Office and Communications Manager at jacob@calvarymoravian.org. Names will remain on the list for two Sundays. After two weeks, if we do not hear from you, names will be removed from the list to keep it current.
Because we have not had a procedure in the past, persons were often left on the list who had either recovered or unfortunately, passed away. This is why it is important that the friends and family prayer list be frequently updated. The above procedure does not apply to the member prayer list that is also in the bulletin each week. That list is maintained by staff who are more aware of the needs of members within the Calvary community. We appreciate your help in keeping this part of our prayer ministry both meaningful and effective.

Easter Grave-Cleaning and Flowering
Once again this year the youth and children will be offering their services to help any members, families, or friends of our congregation in the Easter tradition of cleaning graves in God’s Acre. We plan to clean graves on Good Friday, April 2, just as we have in years past. We are grateful again to Nick Stone who has secured flower availability, but this year we will have only one flower option:
6 inch potted Red Geranium ($20 per plant)
Each pot will be wrapped with paper and a bow, and if desired, placed upon the grave requested or you may pick them up Good Friday morning at Calvary. Please see the order form below as well as in the upcoming March bulletins to place your order, or you may contact Amanda Schumpert at: amoody@calvarymoravian.org and she will answer any questions you may have.
Orders must be received by March 21 in order to confirm numbers with the nursery.
